Our Wedding Party

We want those close to us to take part in our wedding. Hence, choosing the members of our wedding party is a very important process for us. Each member of our entourage has touched our lives from pre-Jeff & Au days up to the present. Our family and relatives have sure spots on our list. Some are the best representatives of our cliques (HS, college, work and travel) while some are simply our favorite people in the world.

Paul & Chug: A Great Tandem

Meet Paul & Chug

Our videographer: Chug Cadiogan

We had our Save-the-Date video shoot with Chug last October 25. Jeff and I agreed to create a story flow for the video. The storyboard is something like this: She goes to the salon, goes shopping, eats at her favorite resto...He, on the other hand, heads to an internet shop to play his favorite computer game, watches a movie at home, plans his next trip...At the end of the day, he picks up a flower somewhere and visits his girl...they see each other at the end.

We had to go to 5 different spots for this video. Our first stopover was at E.J Litiatco's studio. We were there for my hair and make-up as early as 9 o'clock. By the way, E.J. is our official make-up artist for our wedding day. Jeff and I find her really awesome and pleasant! We were so happy because she let us use her new studio. One down for us!

We had our lunch at TOSH Libis and quite discreetly took some scenes there while we were eating. After lunch, we went to Eastwood City, particularly at Zenet Internet (my bro's shop at Cyber Mall), for Jeff's DOTA moments. We also asked permission from a young Korean lady to shoot at her RTW shop, which is also on the same floor as Zenet. She was so kind to us. Well, good thing she remembered my niece, Sola! Her shop is so pretty and dainty! Then, we headed to the headquarter of Travel Factor in Barangay Kapitolyo, Pasig. Thanks to our friend, Tikoy Tan for saying YES. TF office screams LIVE and TRAVEL. I loved it there! Our last stopover was at DMCI Taguig, where Dang and Dale live. Dang, Jeff's sis-in-law and a good friend of mine, opened their lovely home for us. Thanks D & D!

 Our photographer: Paul Vincent

After a long wait, we finally had our engagement session with Paul Vincent last November 17. We chose Tagaytay to be the backdrop of our engagement photos. Our first spot was at Splendido Golf Clubhouse. The shoot at Splendido was fun especially the 'talahib' part. It was my favorite. We also had our picnic concept at Splendido golf area. I've seen some picnic engagement photos online and I fell in love with the concept. Jeff and I, with some help from E.J., his mom and aunt, prepared our props for the picnic scene. We brought mats, a picnic basket (thanks, E.J.), wine bottles and glasses, bread, etc. Oh, the set-up was lovely! Thanks to Tita Edith and Tita Carol, too! Paul's team was teasing us for being so picnic ready!

Our last spot was at Memory Lane (Jolina Magdangal's restaurant). It was not my first choice, actually. I wanted go to this place called "Marcia Adams", also in Tagaytay. Unfortunately, I failed to make a reservation. But then again, it was sort of like a blessing in disguise because Memory Lane was picture perfect! Paul said that it looked like a doll house. The place is so pretty! We were happy because there were only a few guests that night. Mr. Jun Magdangal (Jolina's dad) was also gracious enough to let us shoot at their restaurant. We had the whole place to ourselves! It was Paul's first time to shoot at Memory Lane, which I thought was cool.

****
It was indeed a great experience smiling, posing and projecting for Paul and Chug. More importantly, they are fun to work with. They know how to make their couples feel comfortable on the set. We chose to go all-out (money-wise) with our photography and videography suppliers because we only want the best for our photos and videos. Jeff and I want to grow old together still raving about our wedding photos and videos. Only Paul and Chug can make that happen. We're biased, I know! We just can't wait to see their masterpieces!
